Springfield, Mo. Evangel University track and field has three participants competing this week in the NAIA National Championship meet hosted by Indiana Wesleyan in Marion, Indiana.
Springfield, Mo. Evangel womens tennis player Amy Grossklag was named a First Team NAIA All-American.
Springfield, Mo. Evangels baseball team had five players named All-Heart of America conference performers and Blake McKnight was named to the All-HAAC First Team.
Springfield, Mo. Five Evangel softball players were named All-Heart of America conference performers and three won league Gold Glove awards for their play defensively.
Mobile, Ala. Evangel lost to 11th ranked Vanguard (Calif.) 8-1 in the opening round of the NAIA national womens tennis championships this afternoon in Mobile, Alabama.
Springfield, Mo. The Evangel University womens team had four of the six players honored as all-conference performers in a grouping of the American Midwest, Heart of America and TranSouth conferences.

Evangel is part of the Heart of America Athletic Conference and has intercollegiate sports teams for men in football, basketball, baseball, track and field, cross-country and golf (there is also club-level soccer for men). Women have volleyball, basketball, softball, track and field, cross-country and tennis. Crusader athletes are also actively involved in outreach through our Athletic Ministries program.
