Women's basketball picked 5th in HAAC preseason poll

Springfield, Mo. – The Evangel University women’s basketball was picked 5^th in the Heart of America Athletic Conference preseason coaches’ poll.

Evangel received 56 points in the poll and was one point behind Central Methodist for fourth place. MidAmerica Nazarene was the preseason favorite in the poll receiving 9 first place votes.

Evangel went 10-18 last year and 8-10 in the conference. The Crusaders return three starters and four letter winners from last season’s team.
