Lamoni, Iowa – The Evangel volleyball dropped just their second conference match of the season in a five set loss at Graceland on Tuesday, 25-23, 20-25, 25-19, 20-25 and 15-10.
Kaley Lyons led Evangel with 15 kills and 8 blocks while Morgan Sidwell had 22 assists and 4 service aces. Mallory Sidwell had 28 digs in the match.
Evangel fell to 16-10 and 5-2 in the Heart of America conference while Graceland took sole possession of second place improving to 13-4 and 6-1 in the HAAC.
Evangel returns to conference play and is back at home on Tuesday when they host Peru State on Oct. 16 at the Ashcroft Center.
