Lamoni, Iowa –Evangel volleyball lost a heartbreaking 5-set match at Graceland in the Heart of America conference semifinals Wednesday as Graceland advanced 25-22, 24-26, 23-25, 29-27 and 15-12.
Kaley Lyons led Evangel with 21 kills and 6 blocks. Micah Cribbs and Haley Watson also had 14 kills each. Morgan Sidwell tallied 24 assists while Mallory Sidwell had 27 digs.
The loss ends Evangel’s season as they finish with a 22-14 record. Graceland (19-9) advances to the conference championship Saturday where they will play regular season champ MidAmerica Nazarene.
