Bartlesville, Okla. – The Evangel men’s basketball won their sixth straight game with an 80-52 win over Rhema Bible
(Okla.) Saturday in the Oklahoma Wesleyan Classic.

The Crusaders held a 45-23 lead at halftime and made 20 of their 30 shot attempts in the first half. Evangel ended the game shooting 56 percent from the field going 35 for 63.

Sophomore Brodie Wingert led the Crusaders with 16 points while J.J. Williams added 11 points. Zack Kleine, Victor Agbasi
and Korry Tillery all had 10 points each for Evangel. The Crusaders owned a 45-25 rebound advantage.

Marc Gustin had 28 points for the Eagles to lead all scorers.

Evangel plays in the Oklahoma Baptist Thanksgiving Classic next weekend. The Crusaders will play #5 Rogers State (Okla.) on Friday and #2 Oklahoma Baptist on Saturday.
