Crusaders vs. Livin’ the Dream in exhibition: Evangel takes on Livin’ the Dream out of Kansas City in an exhibition game Saturday at the Ashcroft Center.  

The Crusaders are 9-3 and ranked 16th nationally in NAIA-I. Evangel picked up a conference win in the last game with an 80-39 win over Baker Tuesday at the Ashcroft Center. The win put Evangel’s record at 2-1 in the Heart of America conference.  

Livin’ the Dream is a Christian-based touring team out of the Kansas City area and is made up of former college and professional basketball players from the region. They are playing their 10th exhibition game this season in Saturday’s game at Evangel. The team last played on Nov. 24 against Quakerdale Community College in Kansas City.  

The two teams have not met each other in an exhibition game in more than 10 years.
