Tennis players nationally ranked by the ITA

Springfield, Mo. – Evangel University tennis players Amy Grossklag and Ali Sivinski and Evangel’s doubles team of Grossklag and Jenna Elliott are nationally ranked by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Grossklag is ranked as the 6th best NAIA player by the ITA. The sophomore from Bonita Springs, Florida advanced to the NAIA-ITA national championship tournament last Fall finishing fourth in the event.

Ali Sivinski is ranked as the 46th best singles player in the NAIA by the ITA. Sivinski will be in her first season with Evangel coming in as a freshman from Omaha, Nebraska.

The ITA also ranked the doubles team of Grossklag and Jenna Elliott 6th in the nation. The duo won the consolation bracket at the NAIA-ITA national championships last fall becoming the first Evangel doubles team to win two of three matches at the national tournament.

Evangel tennis opens their season Feb. 18 at William Jewell.
