Evangel back on road to face Graceland: Evangel travels to Lamoni, Iowa to face Graceland on Saturday afternoon.

The Crusaders moved up to seventh place in the Heart of America conference after a 68-54 win over Missouri Valley at the Ashcroft Center Thursday. The win snapped Evangel’s seven-game losing streak as they improved to 5-13 and 4-8 in the conference.

Graceland is looking for their first win in the league. The Yellowjackets are 2-20 and 0-14 in the conference. They enter Saturday’s game with a 12-game losing streak. Thursday, Graceland lost at Central Methodist 107-48.

Evangel won the earlier meeting this season in a game that went overtime. The Crusaders scored a season high 88 points in their 88-83 win over the Yellowjackets on Jan. 5 at the Ashcroft Center. The Crusaders have won 46 of the 54 meetings in the all-time series. The two teams split their two meetings last year.
