Crusaders enter final week vs. Baker: Evangel enters the final week of the regular season with a Monday night game against Baker at the Ashcroft Center. Including Monday’s game, Evangel has three games left in the regular season.

The Crusaders are 7-14 and 6-9 in the Heart of America conference. Saturday, Evangel had their three-game winning streak snapped with a 57-53 loss at home to Culver-Stockton on Saturday.

Baker is 18-9, 11-4 in the conference and only one game back of Benedictine for second place in the league. The Wildcats were idle Saturday but lost to ninth ranked MidAmerica Nazarene 69-67 on Thursday. Baker lost 24 games last season and finished in last place in the HAAC going 4-14.

The Wildcats beat Evangel 70-52 in their previous meeting on Feb. 2 in Baldwin City, Kansas. Evangel leads the all-time series 44-10 and won both games against Baker last year.
