Cedar Hill, Texas - The Evangel softball team kept their season record perfect with a doubleheader sweep of Northwood (Tex).  In game one, senior pitcher Lenzie Boring (5-0) allowed one run, her first earned run of the season scattering 3 hits over 7 innings for the 6-1 win.  Katie Tollefson went 2-3 with 2RBI and Jessica Jett went 2-4 with a double and 2 RBI for Evangel.   In game two, the Crusaders broke a 2-2 tie on an RBI single by Shelby Hoffman in the fifth for the 4-2 victory.  Brooke Brenton (4-0) got the win giving up 2 runs on 6 hits in 7 innings.  Katie Tollefson went 2-4 with a double and RBI for Evangel. 

The Crusaders are in action on Friday March 8th when they play at Texas Wesleyan University in Dallas, Texas.  Game times are 5:00/7:00pm.
