Professional Information: BA in Biblical Studies, Evangel University. MDiv, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. PhD, Biblical Backgrounds and Archaeology, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Staff Field Archaeologist, Tell es-Safi/Gath, Israel.

Job Responsibilities: Teaching on both the main campus at Evangel University and also at the campus of James River Leadership College.

Favorite Thing About Work: Being in the classroom is my favorite thing about being a professor at Evangel. There is no greater fulfillment than influence the lives of students who will go on to be tomorrows leaders.

Favorite Memory as a Student: Playing varsity football and meeting the love of my life!

Personal Information: My wife and I are graduates of Evangel, and she currently teaches classes in the Social Work department. My passion is Biblical Archaeolgy. I am currently digging at Gath, the home of Goliath. You are welcome to participate, ask me how!
