Welcome to my bio webpage! It's an honor to serve the Evangel University community. When I arrived on campus in the fall of 2007, I had no idea how quickly and completely I would fall in love with Evangel. This is a place where God is at work, connecting our students with their callings and equipping them to serve Him under the mentorship of a dynamic faculty and staff. I hope you'll feel free to come by or send me an email. I look forward to meeting you!
Title: Campus Pastor & Director of Spiritual Life
Office: Spiritual Life Office, Chapel
Professional Information:
Ph.D. (in progress) in Intercultural Studies, Assemblies of God Theological Seminary
M.A. in Missions & Intercultural Studies, Wheaton College
B.S. in Pastoral Studies, North Central Bible College (now University)
Job Responsibilities: As Campus Pastor I give oversight to the chapel program at Evangel. I speak regularly in chapel, coordinate guest speakers, and serve on the Chapel Planning Committee. I am also responsible for the strategic direction of our chapel program. As Director of Spiritual Life, I lead the efforts of our CROSSwalk student discipleship corps. This group of student leaders - nearly 90 of them campus-wide - lead weekly devotions on campus and support their peers in the residence halls and the commuter community as we pursue God together. As Assistant Professor of Intercultural Studies I serve part-time in the Theology Department, helping students from every academic discipline discover how they can live and serve God with purpose. I hope that every Evangel student and alumnus will life as a "world Christian," leveraging their gifts and abilities for God's Kingdom.
