Professional Information: I graduated from Evangel University with my BS in Physical Education. I then went to Drury University and got my Master's Degree in Education with an emphasis in Physical Education. I have taught at Evangel for 17 years.
Job Responsibilities: I teach classes that mainly deal with helping our Physical Education majors to become better teachers in the gym and in the classroom. I teach several of the methods courses. I also observe Physical Education majors during their student teaching. I teach one Education class having to do with putting movement into the classrooms.
Courses Taught: I teach Methods of Elementary PE, Methods of Secondary PE, Community Health, Personal Health, Fundamentals of Rhythmic Movement, Family Life, Elementary PE for the Education majors, Methods and Materials of Health, student teaching observations, Adapted PE, Motor Learning, ...
Favorite Thing About Work: I really enjoy working in a Christian environment, getting to know students and helping them to become better teachers. I enjoy what I teach and sharing that information with others. Evangel will always have a special place in my heart.
Favorite Memory as a Student: Playing on the volleyball and basketball teams and traveling with my teammates to play games.

Personal Information: I have been married to William Stephen for 24 years. We have 3 children: Taylor (18) in the 12th grade, Makayla (16) in the 10th grade, and Landon (13) in the 7th grade. We have lived in Nixa, MO for almost 15 years.
