Thanks for visiting my page. I enjoy teaching history courses at EU, and the courses in our new public history minor. I utilize living history in my classes, portraying historic figures from the past, such as Civil War soldiers.

Personal Information: I live in Springfield with my wife, Mary, and our children, Zachary and Daniel. I am a Royal Ranger Commander at Life 360 Church, Park Crest Campus, and I am a Certified Training Instructor in Royal Rangers, and a member of Frontiersmen Camping Fellowship.
Other: I have been involved in Christian higher education for over 20 years. Prior to coming to EU I served on staff at a small Baptist college in southern Georgia, where I also served as the Chi Alpha leader on my campus, and as a local pastor. My hobbies include camping, fishing, hunting, target shooting, spending time with my family, and living history/reeancting. I serve as a Seasonal Park Ranger at Wilson's Creek National Battlefield, and I volunteer at Fort Scott National Historic Site in Kansas, and at Fort Gibson Historic Site in Oklahoma.
