Favorite Thing About Work: I wanted to use the education that the Lord had provided for me to educate Assemblies of God young people in a Christian environment that integrated faith, life and learning. Teaching at Evangel has given me that opportunity. I can think of no higher calling.
Personal Information: Professor McLean is also a General Council endorsed volunteer Police Chaplain. He began this ministry in 1979 as the Chaplain for the Saugus, Massachusetts Police Department. He has been a member of the International Conference of Police Chaplains since 1979. In 1991 he served as the Midwest Regional Director of the ICPC. He joined the Springfield Police Chaplains Association in 1983. He has served as Treasurer, Secretary, Vice-President and President of the Chaplains Association.
"Being a Police Chaplain keeps me on the street. It also provides valuable illustrations for classes, some of which are tragic, while others are inspirational, and some are just hilarious."
