Favorite Thing About Work: The best part of my job is working with students. The faculty/student interaction is the Evangel Spirit. Getting to know the students on a personal level keeps me motivated to be the best teacher that I can be both academically and spiritually.
Evangel is about relationship. Realizing that All Truth is God's Truth and living your faith through every aspect of your life, including your chosen vocation.
Was an Evangel Student: Absolutely! Go Crusaders. Grad. 1984
Favorite Memory as a Student: Long dinners in the cafe with friends. Chapel services that were meaningful. Campus activities. Eternal friends.
Originally From: Nowata, OK
Personal Information: I love life. I'm married to Michael Miller. We've been together for more 28 years. We have one daughter, Taylor, who is 24 years old.
Our min-pin dog named Piston recently passed. He was our favorite playmate. He truly was a member of the family and we miss him greatly. Mike, Tay, and the new son-in-law, Dustin enjoy tractor and steam engine shows, hiking, and all things nature. Michael and I collect antique John Deere tractors and restore them. I enjoy many things: Nature, Holidays, Reading, Music, Theatre, Photography, Scrapbooking, and Collecting Childhood Memoribilia.
My research passion is studying Human Communication from the pragmatic perspective.
Other: Always remember that Jesus loves you -- just the way you are right now. Let Him lead and direct you according to His great plan for your life. You are unique and wonderfully made...remember who you are, a child of God.
