Professional Information: Joel Griffin is a native of Southern Missouri and graduate of Missouri Southern State University with a B.A. in Saxophone Performance, M.M. in Theory/Composition from Missouri State University. Prior to coming to Evangel University, Mr. Griffin served on faculty at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, TX and Messenger College in Joplin, MO. He has also taught at the Missouri State University Missouri Fine Arts Academy. Mr. Griffin has studied with Randy Hamm, Dave Pietro, Kim Park, Dr. Charles Thelen, Dr. Phil C. Wise, and Dr. Michael F. Murray.
