Favorite Memory as a Student: Watching the 2008 NCAA National Championship game in my dorm room on K1N. My beloved Jayhawks came from behind to beat Memphis in overtime, 75-68.

Personal Information: My wife, Alana (Appel), also attended EU. We met during the very end of the spring semester of my senior year. We married on August 1, 2009 in Des Moines, IA. She is two-time graduate of Evangel (BS in Psychology, 2008; MS in School Counseling, 2011).

I enjoy sports (especially college basketball and professional football), reading (about theology and church leadership), weightlifting (at Evangel's Mabee Fitness Center), and DIY projects (like reconditioning mid-century furniture).
