Password Reset Request

Password Problems

In order for you to be able to log on to the computers on campus and student portal, you will need your on-campus user name and password. This user name and password can be used to log onto the Student Portal, your student e-mail account, and the Angel learning management system.

The user name is a combination of the first 4 letters of your last name and your student identification number without the first group of zeroes. It was sent to you at the personal e-mail address we have on file for you when your account was first created.

Your password needs to be a combination of numbers, uppercase and lowercase letters, and/or special characters. It should be at least eight characters long. It is recommended that you change your password regularly. Your password will expire automatically every 90 days. When changing your password, keep in mind that the system will not allow you to use one that you have used on our system before.


A password reset request will be emailed to your personal email address on file with Evangel (e.g. Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.).

Note: If you do not receive an email from Evangel after a few minutes, check your spam/junk mail folders—e-mails from our system may be automatically moved there. If you still cannot find an e-mail from us, make sure to add "@evangel.edu" addresses to your safe senders list or your contacts in your personal email account. Then resubmit your password reset request.
