Password Problems

In order for you to be able to log on to the computers on campus and student portal, you will need your on-campus username and password.

The user name is a combination of the the first 4 letters of your last name and your student identification number without the zeros.

The first time you log in, your password will be your Student Identification Number. You will be immediately prompted to change it. You can do this from any Evangel University computer, or, if off campus, log into your student email at https://studentmail.evangel.edu and you will be given an option to change your password.

Example:

Student name: Eric Smith
Identification number: 10000001234
Username: Smit11234
Password: 10000001234

Your password needs to be a combination of numbers, uppercase and lowercase letters. It is recommended that you change your password regularly. Your password will expire automatically every 90 days.

Press Ctrl+Alt+ Delete and click Log Off. It is important that you remember to log off or you will not be able to log onto another computer.

Reset

A password reset request will be emailed to personal email address on file with Evangel (e.g. Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, ect.).

Note: If you do not recieve an email from Evangel after a few minutes, make sure to add "@evangel.edu" addresses to your safe senders list or your contacts in your personal email account. Then resubmit your password reset request.
