Job Responsibilities: I view myself as a "Biblical engineer." My interest is in helping students see how the Bible works. This is where teaching Biblical interpretation, research and writing, Biblical Hebrew, and Old Testament come into the picture. Part of this involves co-advising the Theta Alpha Kappa honor society and bringing students to the Central States Society of Biblical Literature meeting each spring.

I also regularly present papers at the Central States Society of Biblical Literature Meeting.
